At Cats in the Country, we have been providing a quality boutique cat boarding facility for over 20 years. We started our business in Beaconsfield Upper before moving to Pakenham 10 years ago.
Our team consists family members who are all dedicated to offering a consistent standard of care for our clients.
Accommodation rates are $23 per calendar day with no minimum booking period. This is for one cat with their own run. Two cats from the same family sharing a large run is $40 per day.
Your choice of morning or afternoon check in and check out does not affect the fee. Unlike most catteries, we do not add a surcharge for public or school holidays.
Our rates include a variety of wet and dry foods to meet your cats’ dietary requirements. This includes dry Royal Canin, Science Diet, Purina One, Whiskers and wet supermarket branded foods Fancy Feast, Whiskers, Dine.
We will do our best to meet your requirements, but if we are unable to, please provide your own.
We use Breeders Choice kitty litter which is changed daily.
Our cattery feature all year-round heating and cooling for maximum comfort, fresh air flow and with spacious walk-in enclosures which are all oversized from the industry standard.
Each cat has their own walk-in enclosure with larger ones available for multiple cat families who like to stay together.
Each individual cat having access to scratching poles, hammocks, hiding spots and toys, to keep cats entertained and happy throughout their stay. Each cat is given access to a larger exercise area at least daily.
Our enclosures are all kept immaculately clean, and secure with around the clock personal loving care and attention given to each client.
Medication can be administered with correct instructions provided by your veterinarian.
Proof of current Cat Vaccination must be provided on arrival.
Cats must be treated for fleas and wormed prior to check-in.
